My name is Inita Sabanska. I am an artist from Latvia. Painting was my childhood dream. I draw every free moment. I held my first solo exhibition in 1992. in Latvia. Almost every year I had a new exhibition. I am passionate about searching for my own artistic signature, the art style that most closely matches my personality.
I have a higher education. Since 2018, I have been participating in international art competitions in Luxembourg, France, Italy and Germany. I have received a high evaluation of my art from an international jury. This year, I won 2nd place in an art competition in Frankfurt, Germany, and I have been accepted as an honorary member of this art society.
I have been looking for my artistic handwriting in purposeful work without being afraid to experiment with color, materials, and experimental methods.
The closest to me is the direction of expressionism. I like to vividly express my emotions with colors and energetic strokes of paint, where the images or figures of nature are only the background and basis for the spectrum of my emotions. I also like to paint in a romantic, calm impressionistic style, depicting the light vibrations of the given moment.
I write a little more. I have published two collections of poems, two books of children's fairy tales, which I designed and decorated with my own drawings, and an autobiographical book about my path to art.
